Subject: REMINDER #1 for TOP SECRET PLAN involving our friend Meg

Hello everyone!!

This is Jess Scott, and I am a friend of Meg Cusimano. I have talked to most of you personally, and have emailed some of the rest of you. So, one way or another, you should all know about the subject of this email. In case I missed someone, however, I will briefly review:

MEG CUSIMANO, our friend, is secretly getting proposed to by her long time boyfriend Jim on November 14th, a Monday, here at Bucknell in Bucknell Hall, and you are invited!!! We are trying to get as many people as she knows to attend- currently there are over 150 invited!!!

THE PLAN:
Meg thinks she is going to a "poetry reading" for a friend of ours, Mal, in Bucknell Hall at 730pm on that monday. Actually, we are all meeting there at 7pm and Meg and I will arrive convienently "late" to the "reading", and all you guys will be sitting in the front and the lights will be off. Meg and I will
grab a seat in the back, and as Mal finishes her poem she will "forget" the rest of her poems and introduce the "guest poet", Jim. Its all him from there!

SO THIS EMAIL IS TO REMIND YOU OF THE DATE AND TIME FOR THE SURPRISE PROPOSAL:
****** Monday November 14th at 7pm in Bucknell Hall*****

It is imperative that you are on time to this event, as it can't happen without each of you!! Also, feel free to invite anyone who is also friends with Meg to attend this event with you- there is no limit to the number of people we want to share this moment with Jim and Meg!!

FINAL NOTE: This is VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!
These last 2 weeks before the event are the most important in keeping the plan from Meg. Recently she has come to me with more knowledge than she should have about certain people whom she hasn't told about her boyfriend/ the idea of a proposal, who have somehow "known" that the relationship is to the level where she has been expecting the proposal. WE CAN"T LET HER FIND OUT!!! Therefore, I ask each of you to do what you can to not even mention the fact that she has a
boyfriend, let alone anything about a poetry reading or a proposal. PLAY DUMB- if she says ANYTHING TO YOU she is very smart and may be trying to pry information out of you. AVOID THE SUBJECT AT ALL COSTS, please!!!! You know who you are if you have accidentally admitted to knowing more than you should about the upcoming event to Meg, so instead of undergoing any method to fix your mistake, NEVER BRING UP THE SUBJECT AGAIN!! lol, thanks!!

I hope you each are as excited as I am to be a part of making this moment the most amazing it can be for Meg and Jim- Jim has already admitted to me that he is amazed at the level to which each of you is going out of your way to attend this event, even if you have only known Meg briefly/haven't see her since highschool. He thanks each of you, as do I, and I can't wait to see you there!
